We stopped by this little farm for a quick tea break… Well, tea quickly turned into a cider – and I have no regrets! It’s an absolute hidden gem: peaceful surroundings, stunning views, and the cutest goats you can feed with food bought from the bar. A perfect little countryside escape. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Popped in for a beer and ended up with dinner and a few more ales. If you like cider then you must try the on site made cider. We ended up eating or drinking here for the next few days whilst staying near by. Ploughman's was HUGE and the steak and kidney pudding was really nice. Even had breakfast on our way back home after our hols finished. Really friendly, food was lovely and added bonus the view is amazing from the beer garden. Camping and shop on site to which all looked good (not used by us this time) Definitely popping in here again on our next trip this way.

What a gem of a place!! We camped at the campsite half a mile down the road & spotted the sign for here as we drove in. Walked the short distance & it was so worth it. As vegans we struggle in most places but here we had options. We had a sourdough pizza & i have to say, quite possibly the best I've ever had. Wonderful place!

Food is always excellent here, lovely coffee and amazing cakes… the lemon and blueberry being a personal favourite! The cider is really lovely too! I had the Ploughman's last time I visited, it was excellent! All the food is fresh and tasty, there are lovely ornaments, mirrors etc to buy, Bosun the dog is adorable, the goats are very cheeky and funny, it is just a great place to visit

Very good size breakfast and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Asked for a flat white but more like a standard coffee. Place was freezing but lucky to get a seat by log burner once it had been lit. Staff could have been a little more welcoming. And if you don't approve of a begging dog it's probably not right for you.

Lovely little pub and farm. Didn't have food apart from 2 sausage rolls for the kids. Not as good as Greg's sausage rolls and 3 times the price. But beer was nice and cider is made on the farm. Overall defendant worth a visit. It was a bit cold in the restaurant and they could of put the fire on. But we all saving money so maybe not cold enough 2 get the fire on.

Please don't be put off by the location and drive off the main road, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit and couldn't fault the food one bit. The minestrone soup was delicious and the mains didn't disappoint either. A huge bowl of mussels with a beautiful cider-broth to soak-up with some lovely crusty bread.

What a view! A perfect sunny garden spot with unrestricted views of the Sea / Bristol Channel, south Wales and Valley of Rocks. Colin, Jill and Tom are a great team behind the bar and restaurant, plus their other amazing smiley staff. They go out their way to serve and help you. Its like being part of a family. Great selection of generous sized meals (Ploughman's for two is our favourite!) and a glass of their OWN Caffyns sparkling medium sweet cider. You can also take out a bottle of wine from their accessible fridge. We are local and come here often. Its out the way and has the last sun of the day, where Lynmouth will be in darkness during the height of summer!
